What Is a Parent Liaison? 

The parent liaison coordinates group gifts for the teacher(s) and serves as a go-between for the PTO and classroom. Being a liaison is a great way to get involved with the PTO and to meet other parents. By helping to keep parents informed of special activities, upcoming events, and important updates, parent liaisons help to foster strong classroom communities. Coming to monthly PTO meetings is helpful but not required.
